DC Meet-Up/Rally
A rally/demonstration to take place at the Upper Senate Park, just north of the US Capitol Building. Come and meet supporters of this cause from around the country and share stories, support, and advice.

Important things to note:
Please bring your own chairs. Also, it might be prudent to bring food and beverages for your group.
Signs/placards are encouraged, but please, no profanity or vulgar statements.
Federal regulations prohibit any form of shelter (such as a tent) at demonstration sites.
There is no on-site parking available near any of the demonstration sites. There are several hotels that are within walking distance of the park and more info will be available in the next few days about where we are staying and what alternative options are available. Also, Union Station is within walking distance as seen on the map linked above.
It is regrettable that we cannot make travel/lodging arrangements for all participants. We will not be responsible for shortages of rooms, lack of transportation/parking, or large-scale events that delay or cancel the rally.
Remember: this rally is as big as we make it. If only 10 people show up, then we will have a 10 person get together. So tell all of your friends and anyone who might be interested!
