Time is running out!
Our organization is working to raise awareness for MST and the urgent need for reform to allow survivors to receive the care and justice they deserve, but we cannot do it without your support.
A Black Rose does not base its efforts on a massive staff or large facilities, we rely on rallies, word-of-mouth campaigns, and face-to-face talks with congresspeople and advocates to draw public support. Now, our largest event, a rally in Washington, D.C. is facing possible cancellation due to a lack of funding. To clarify, the roses will be taken to D.C. and we will attract as much attention to the issue as possible. However, there will be no event, no displays, no guest speakers, no banners or signs without generous gifts from the public.
I think it would be helpful to reflect on the point of this whole journey we've taken over the last year or so. This isn't a place to receive legal advice (we aren't lawyers). This isn't a place to get professional help (we aren't doctors or counselors, but we'll do our best to help you find one). This is an organization founded by an MST survivor who was tired of being ignored, tired of the media choosing to cover who's who in Hollywood over the violation of our soldiers, and tired of people being clueless as to what is going on in our own military.
We don't have millions of dollars or celebrity endorsements; instead, we have devoted, energetic supporters like you. You can make a difference by making a generous gift to our cause. 100% of the gifts we receive go towards this campaign: envelopes to send materials to members of Congress and news agencies, roses to lay at the Capitol, and many more necessary goods and services. There are no "administrative fees", no overhead, and no one who works with us draws a salary from our donations.
If you have any questions about our cause, don't hesitate to contact us. To make a donation, please click the "Donate" button below and you will be taken to PayPal, a secure payment portal that allows you to pay with your PayPal account or any major credit card.
