Make the Connection
Department of Veterans Affairs public awareness campaign designed to help Veterans overcome and seek treatment for mental health conditions. Make the Connection provides extensive resources for Veterans suffering from military sexual trauma, including:
- VA approved treatment and support resources
- Video testimonials from Veterans who overcame the MST
- Valuable tips on how to recognize the effects of MST and seek treatment

Mesothelioma is a cancer of the lining of the lungs or abdomen that is caused by exposure to asbestos. In over 30% of all mesothelioma cases, asbestos exposure happened during military service. Veterans from all branches of service are at risk, with the most common being the United States Navy and the Marines. There are a variety of mesothelioma treatments available, as well as doctors in the VA system who are capable of treating it.

Truman VA, Mobile Vet Center to provide on-site services for California-area veterans
Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans' Hospital and the Columbia Vet Center are teaming up to provide California-area veterans with services such as Veterans Health Administration enrollment, and counseling for post-traumatic stress disorder and military sexual trauma.
